Rathbone Sisters collection 1895-1906.

This collection contains the Colorado Rathbone Sisters' annual journals of proceedings for 1895-1906 (missing 1898, 1900 and 1904). In it also are a letterhead cover letter from the Grand Chief (1903), a memorial service manual (1900) and a certificate of a past chief (1895).

The Rathbone Sisters was a woman's service group, like the Pythian Sisters (coll. BHS 308). Maude E. Willis, daughter of Boulder pioneers Mary and Jacob Ullmer, was herself one of the most active club and church women in Boulder. Born in 1872, she was married to James J.
